Case studies
Our case studies show how instarinse® is already transforming reuse in workplaces, campuses and venues. These are only the beginning. As we grow with new partners and sites we will keep adding stories, results and insights.
Sodexo at Scottish Parliament

Sodexo at Scottish Parliament already had strong reuse rates in its main café, but wanted to go further. One of the biggest challenges from customers was simple: where to wash their cups.
We installed instarinse® in the main café, providing staff training and support. impactOS tracked adoption and savings, while clear communication made reuse visible and easy for both staff and visitors.
Not only did customers embrace reuse, staff did too, praising instarinse® for being easy to use, clean and look after. Adoption rose further, disposable cups were reduced, and measurable savings were delivered.
instarinse® delivered a hygienic rinse in seconds.
Staff satisfaction increased as operation was simple and disruption free.
impactOS reporting gave managers live visibility of progress and measurable impact.
Parliament plans to expand its reuse efforts even further, with instarinse® at the heart of creating a culture of sustainability across the estate.
Brunel University

Brunel University wanted to make reuse part of everyday life across all cafés, including Costa and Starbucks. Students were eager to engage, but rinsing options were limited and staff were stretched.
We worked with Brunel to introduce instarinse® across every café on campus. Installation was smooth and disruption free. From the first day, students and staff could see immediate progress and benefits.
Reuse adoption more than doubled, rising from 3.8% to 8.2% in Phase 1. Thousands of cups were saved, staff satisfaction improved, and measurable savings in resources and impact were achieved.
instarinse® delivers fast, hygienic rinsing with high temperature steam, removing barriers to reuse.
Clear communication and simple design made reuse visible and easy, encouraging participation from both staff and students across campus.
Brunel is targeting majority reuse by 2027 across campus, aiming to save tens of thousands of cups. With instarinse® now in place for the new academic year, reuse is set to become the new campus standard.
Elior UK Headquarters

At Elior’s head office, the goal was clear: remove single use completely. Staff were ready to change, but success depended on reliable systems, clear monitoring, and everyday ease.
We introduced instarinse® on site, supported by impactOS. The installation was quick, the transition seamless. Staff training and communication were simple, while real time data gave managers confidence from the start.
Staff switched to reuse without difficulty, eliminating disposable cups on site. impactOS tracked progress and savings, providing visibility of adoption. With over 15,000 cups rinsed in 8 months, costs fell, resources were saved, and sustainability targets moved closer.
